Just as The Waco Kid is about to take his shot, an improvised line from Liam Dunn makes him stop. It also leads to many of the townsfolk beating him with their hats. We cut to Taggart getting off his horse and moving to kick down the door to a building. As he does, the entire facade falls, revealing the fake. As Taggart yells they’ve been suckered in, Jim lines up his revolver. The Waco Kid squeezes off a shot. A moment later, the first charge goes off, sending a horse and its rider into the sky. One of the explosions we noticed is from the same building Taggart had kicked down just moments before. As the minute comes to an end, Sheriff Bart leads the citizens to charge down the hill to attack. As a bonus, we also get a bit of our interview with actor Burton Gilliam over his thoughts about the ending of the movie.
